These are the terms and conditions for using the More From Music website and the IMAP resource.

Deaf and Hard of Hearing Individual

1. I suffer from deafness, partial deafness, otherwise suffer from a hearing impairment, or have a cochlear implant or use another hearing aid device.
2. I agree to access, use and download the software, music, video or stems from this site only for my personal, non-commercial use and will not copy or otherwise distribute anything I download to any other person.
3. I understand that any other use of the website, software, music, video or stems I am given access to may constitute a copyright infringement which may be subject to legal proceedings.
4. This software should be compatible with mac and windows operating systems (Mac Intel machine running OS X 10.5 or later, and 1 GB RAM. Quicktime 7.1 or later, Java 6 or later; Windows XP, Vista, or Windows 7 machine with a Pentium 4® or Celeron® compatible processor or higher and 1 GB RAM. Quicktime 7.1 or later, Java 6 or later) and whilst we have taken reasonable care to ensure the software is virus and bug free the University of Southampton does not warrant your use of the software will be uninterrupted or error free.

Aides to Deaf and Hard of Hearing Individuals

1. I am a family member, close friend and supporter of a person who is deaf, hard of hearing, has a cochlear implant, uses a hearing aid or who otherwise suffers a hearing impairment and provide unpaid support and assistance to this person.
2. I agree to access, use and download the software, music, video or stems from this site only for the benefit of the deaf or hard of hearing person that I am supporting and only for their personal, non-commercial use and will not copy or otherwise distribute anything I access or download to any other person.
3. I understand that any other use of the website, software, music or stems I am given access to may constitute a copyright infringement which may be subject to legal proceedings.

Professionals

1. I am an audiologist, music therapist, hearing therapist, rehabilitationist, music or sound professional, researcher, or teacher that works with, runs workshops for or otherwise supports deaf and hard of hearing individuals including those with cochlear implants or who use hearing aid devices as well as other vulnerable individuals such as those with autistic spectrum/communication disorders, emotional/behavioural disturbance, mental illness, and learning and physical disabilities (my clients).
2. I agree I will only access the website, use and download the software, music, video or stems from this site for non-commercial purposes only and solely to enable, assess or research my clients' use of the same.
3. I will not copy, modify, adapt or otherwise distribute anything I access or download to any other person.
4. I will not charge any clients for the use of this website or the software, music, video or stems that I download.
5. I will acknowledge the University of Southampton the www.morefrommusic.org website, and the Arts and Humanities Research Council in any publications or publicity I make as a result of the use of this website, the software, music and stems available on it.

7. I will provide a copy of and report back to the University of Southampton IMAP project team any results, data (in anonymised form) or intellectual property arising from my use of this website and tool and hereby grant a royalty free licence to the University of Southampton to use these for research and teaching purposes.
8. I recognise that any other use of the website, software, music, video or stems I am given access to may constitute a copyright infringement which may be subject to legal proceedings and further that any revenues I receive or charges I make to my clients as a result of any unauthorised use could be required to be accounted for and paid to the University of Southampton and/or the copyright owner of any music, video or stems I have used in contravention of this licence.
9. I understand that as this is a research tool and access is provided free of charge by the University of Southampton that my use of this site, tool, music or stems with my clients is done so entirely at my own risk.
